Announcements
Whitman & Hanson Dollars for Scholars will be holding an Electronic Recycling Day at the Maquan School in Hanson on Saturday, May 3, from 9AM to 1PM. Residents and non-residents can dispose of their unwanted electrical items which they may not be able to do away with by conventional trash methods. A fee will be assessed which will support DFS’ scholarship awards program.
Hanson Youth Football will have holding registrations on Saturday and Sunday, May 3rd and 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Old Police Station 795 Indian Head Street. For additional information please go to www.hansonyouthfootball.com
Hanson Democratic & Republican Town Committees will be holding their joint Townwide Candidates’ Forum on Sunday, May 4th at 3:00 p.m. at the Hanson Town Hall. All Hanson voters are strongly encouraged to attend!! This is your chance to hear what the candidates have to say and to ask them questions before you cast your vote!!. Town Meeting is Monday, May 5th at the Hanson Middle School. Meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. a quorum of 100 registered voters is required.
Memorial Day Parade will be Monday May 26th.~ The Veterans Agent Bob Arsenault is looking for volunteers to work with him to organize and supervise the parade. The work involved includes organizing marching groups who will march in the parade and other services related to the parade. Please contact Bob at (781) 293-2772.
